New Cumnock Golf Course is a tested parkland golf course with views overlooking the loch, situated on the A76 and is 1 mile from the town centre and about 20 miles from the Ayrshire coast, which boasts some of the most famous golfing venues in the world, which include Royal Troon, Old Prestwick and Turnberry.  These courses are famous all over the world because of their connection with the Open Championship, which has been played over all three, on many occasions.  Whilst New Cumnock Golf Club will never attain the world wide appeal of these courses, it offers members and visitors a pleasant round of golf set in beautiful surroundings.
